Ember Română

Terms of Service

Ember · effective [publication date]

These are the rules between you and us when you use Ember, in the app or on the web. By using Ember you agree to them. How we use your data is in the Privacy Policy. If the Romanian and English versions differ, the Romanian version prevails.

1. Who we are

Ember is provided by Paradigm Systems S.R.L., registered office Cluj-Napoca (municipality), Cluj County, Strada Poet Andrei Mureșanu no. 9, apt. 3, tax ID (CUI) 55676388, Trade Register no. J2026057051002 (EUID ROONRC.J2026057051002), email hello@ember-si.com.

2. What Ember is

Ember is an assistant built on artificial intelligence, with virtual experts, a plan, notes and voice. Replies are generated automatically: they can be wrong, incomplete or out of date.

Ember is not a doctor, psychologist, lawyer or financial adviser, even when some experts have those roles. What they say is general information, not professional advice. For important decisions, talk to a professional. In an emergency, call 112 or your local emergency number.

3. Your account

4. What you may not do

If that happens, we may limit or close the account. If an answer is offensive or dangerous, long-press it and choose Report.

5. What you write and what Ember writes

What you write, say or send stays yours. You allow us to process it only as needed to provide Ember to you. You may use the replies freely, at your own responsibility, checking them when it matters. Ember, its name, character and app design are ours.

6. Free, Ember Plus and credits

7. Invitations

When a friend you invited subscribes, you may both get a reward (for example days of Ember Plus or credits), once per friend, after their subscription passes its first days. Rewards obtained through fake accounts or abuse are withdrawn.

8. How the service works

We do our best for Ember to work well, but we don’t promise it will always run without interruptions or errors. We may change, add or remove features. If we remove something important from a paid subscription, we’ll tell you in advance.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for decisions taken only on the basis of Ember’s replies, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for Ember in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or the rights consumer protection law gives you.

10. Ending

You can leave at any time by deleting your account. Deleting the account doesn’t by itself cancel a store subscription: cancel it there too. We may close an account that breaks these terms, telling you why, except where the law doesn’t allow us to.

11. The App Store app

If you got Ember from the App Store: these terms are between you and Paradigm Systems S.R.L., not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app, its maintenance or claims about it; for any issue, write to us. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, which may refund the app’s price, and Apple has no other warranty obligation. You use the app only on Apple devices you own or control, as the App Store rules allow. You also follow third-party terms when using them. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

12. Law and complaints

Romanian law applies. If you are a consumer in another EU country, you keep the mandatory protections of your country. For any complaint, write to us first at support@ember-si.com. You may also turn to the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (anpc.ro), including its alternative dispute resolution (in Romanian), or to the competent courts.

13. Changes

If we change these terms in an important way, we’ll tell you in the app before they take effect. If you don’t agree, you can leave at any time.
